Customer Reviews

"We drove to Indiana, PA, to pick up a new pet and stopped at this place to get dinner. All of the staff was super kind, and the food was outstanding. They also had a delicious dessert. It was like a cheesecake with banana, cream, cookie, and caramel. It was out of this world. I forgot to take a picture of it because we inhaled it."

"Most legit wings ever! It's been YEARS since I've had wings this good. Family absolutely loved their strombolis. My son loved his pulled pig sandwich and as he said, the tater tots were "bussin'." My youngest devoured the chicken tenders and fries so they clearly received her seal of approval. The in-laws said they're definitely be regulars now. So good. Glad the reviews are accurate!"

"Wonderful pizza -- possibly one of the best I've ever had, and certainly a great crust. I had a small (10", vs 16") with sweet hot sauce, cheddar, crispy chicken, and added jalapenos. Highly recommend that combo. I also witnessed the wings come out, and they are massive whole wings -- not sections. The sauces are innovative, I truly enjoyed the sweet hot sauce and the ranch drizzle. They have quite a list of sauces, all of them seem to be housemade. Highly, highly recommend. Pricing is great, comparable to Fox's, but the quality of the pizza at this place is unrivaled."

"We stopped on our way home from Roaring Springs and we decided to take a non toll road. Nice little place, very clean and friendly service. The bathroom was also very clean. The food was good. (Salad was just iceberg lettuce with some cucumber, tomatoes, celery, carrot sticks, and shredded cheese, okay, but I would have liked to have some mixed greens) . Chicken tenders were moist, not dried out the and pizza was tasty. FYI.. they have a walk in beer cooler."

"This little roadside stop is a must. They take so much pride in what they do, and it shows every time. The food, the quality, and the staff are always consistently fantastic! I highly recommend the Roadside. It never disappoints."

"We stopped at The Road Side on our way back to Pittsburgh and we got the bacon wrapped jalepnos, hot buffalo wings (with garlic/parm topping), and stromboli. Although the stromboli wasn't the best I've had (but still really good), the bacon wrapped jalepenos and the wings were incredibly good! The prices are a little high for Shelocta, but it is definitely worth trying!"

"We ate here yesterday the food was amazing. I got a grilled chicken salad and the husband got wings. If you haven't tried it you should. You can have soda, alcoholic slushy, or beer "
